Our Business

Precision Land Solutions is a family owned and operated business based out of Winkler, Manitoba, Canada. Our goal is to help "Advance Innovative Agribusiness" by helping today's premier growers with water management. Our business is focussed in 3 Core areas: Tile Drainage, Precision Earthmoving, and Other Services including GPS/GIS work and Irrigation Development. Our expertise is in water management, but with our farm management experience, we know what it takes to make things work. Our goal is to make your farm more profitable.

Our expertise in these areas was developed on-farm in real world conditions. Owner and CEO, Chris Unrau, earned this experience by holding various positions such as agronomist, project manager, and farm manager for a large irrigated table and processing potato grower. Part of his responsibilities were to oversee, coordinate, and implement major land enhancement initiatives including nearly 4000 acres of tile drainage, 5000 acres of land levelling, and several major irrigation and building projects. In 2006, Chris decided to leave the hands-on management of agriculture to pursue this new business venture. Chris now has over 13 years of experience installing tile drainage and has installed more than 12,000,000 feet.

Our Family

Chris and Charlotte Unrau reside in Winkler, Manitoba. They have four children and thoroughly enjoy their responsibilities as parents, even though there are the typical frustrations and challenges. They support the community through their work with their local church, schools, and community groups. As a family they enjoy taking a break from work by participating in local motorsports.
